Assignment #1: Anti-Marie Antoinette Propaganda • Imagine you are in charge of creating a pamphlet/poster/cartoon about Queen Marie Antoinette. • The purpose of the pamphlet/poster/cartoon should be to present the Queen in a NEGATIVE light. • Your creation would be posted/distributed around Paris, France during the 1700s before the French Revolution to spark anger against the Queen, the monarchy, and the nobility.

You have viewed hundreds of pamphlets and poster depicting the Queen as a terrible, wasteful individual who has cheated on her husband. • WRITE a ONE-PAGE letter to the Queen explaining your feelings as a member of the Third Estate. Remember, the majority of French people were starving and without money.
