CNB 4 main strategies: • Preventive Drug Education • Rigorous Enforcement • Treatment and Rehabilitation for addicts • Aftercare and Continued Rehabilitation for ex-addicts to reintegrate them into society.
Anti-drug strategy • Strict law, vigorous enforcement and a high profile drug prevention programme aimed zero tolerance for drug abuse. • Effective law enforcement - the law allows for drug abusers to be sent immediately to drug rehabilitation centres for treatment. • The law also provides for appropriate punishment to be meted out to recalcitrant abusers. • In addition, the law provides for harsh deterrent penalties for drug traffickers.
