  1. Step By Step Guide For Logging Into CIBIL Consumer Portal

  2. CIBIL offers two types of consumer categories: individual and commercial. The login process for commercial consumers is different, and corporates or companies can register for CIBIL under this segment. However, to register as an individual borrower, you must follow the steps earmarked for CIBIL login. In this presentation we'll discuss steps to complete the CIBIL consumer login.

  3. Step 1 Visit the official CIBIL website and go to the ‘Credit Score’ section or log on to the CIBIL portal. Choose the subscription plan you wish to purchase. If you want to know your credit score and report regularly, select a quarterly or bi-annual subscription. If you're not interested in periodic reports, then opt for a one-time CIBIL subscription. The cost for a one-time CIBIL check is Rs. 550, and by paying Rs. 800, you will receive two reports in a year. For Rs. 1,200, you can access four updated reports annually.

  4. Step 2 After selecting a subscription model, fill in your basic details in the form provided to create your account. You will need to enter your name, password of your choice, PAN number, email address, date of birth, and mobile number. Double-check the form before submission to avoid any discrepancies. Next, accept the terms and conditions by clicking on a checkbox, and then click ‘Accept and Continue.

  5. Step 3 Next, you will need to verify your account by clicking on the link sent by CIBIL to your email ID. This is based on the information you provided in the form earlier. Once you have successfully verified your account, it will be created. You can now proceed to make a payment for the chosen subscription plan. Choose your preferred mode of payment, such as net banking, cash cards, or debit/credit cards.

  6. Now that you have your CIBIL login ID and password, you can head to the my CIBIL section or CIBIL login page to begin. To get your report, you will need to complete your profile by submitting one or two basic KYC documents on the CIBIL website. Choose the identity proof and address proof you wish to upload. Enter the details of the proof you are submitting, and upload a JPEG or PDF of the proof. Finally, click ‘submit’ to complete your CIBIL login registration.
