Your Tools These tools are directly below the preview area. Transitions Maps Text Music Camera
Under Music iMovie comes with many sound files. You can add music to iTunes, download music from Freeplaymusic.com or create music, effects or voice recordings in Garage Band.
Under Camera You can add photos from a camera or other device, from the internet or take photos in Photo Booth to use in iMovie. TIP- if newly added images cannot be seen in iMovie quit iMovie and restart the program.
Under Titles • You can preview and set captions or titles under the Title Tool. • You can also change the Theme here. • All can be previewed by touching with the mouse. • To add titles drag it to the clip and then edit it.
Under Transitions • Theme can be changed here too. • First row is designed to go with the theme. • Transitions can be previewed here by touching with your mouse. • Drag and drop a transition between 2 clips to add it.
How to preview your project • 2 Buttons • First is full Screen • Second will show in preview area
Recording in iMovie • Right below the preview buttons is a camera icon. The will open up recording window so you can record right to your iMovie events. • The 2 arrows trade the project areas top to bottom.
