  5. Course Overview:1st Quarter • Shop etiquette • Purchase Systems/electrics • Flats/lumber • Metal/welding • Rigging • lights

  6. Course overview:2nd quarter • Props • Sound • Costumes/make-up • Paint • projections

  7. Importance of technical theatre • Become more aware of surroundings • Ability to take direction easier • Can lend a useful hand when needed • Become well rounded (Directors like this!)

  8. Course/school information • Herberger Institutes school of Film Dance and Theatre • Bachelor of the Arts degree with a focus in acting or design and production.
