Knowledge of CURRICULUM Curriculum is sequenced and organized to ensure that ALL students are taught the essential content as outlined in the Quality Core Curriculum (QCC), Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) and Content Standards (PreK).
QCC / GPS Quality Core Curriculum (QCC) has been or is currently being replaced by Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) for K-12. For frequently asked questions go to: www.georgiastandards.orgfaqs.aspx#qz
Content Standards (PreK) Georgia's Pre-K Content Standards provide a foundation for instruction in all Pre-K classrooms. They reflect current educational research and are aligned with Georgia's Performance Standards for grades K - 12.
Lesson Plans Objectives for your lessons should be based on QCC, GPS, or Content Standards. These standards should be used for planning instruction and assessing student’s work. These standards can be found on one of the following websites: www.georgiastandards.orgwww.glc.k12.ga.us/qcc www.decal.state.ga.us/prek
