  1. End of Quarter (EOQ) Reporting Data May 14, 2002

  2. Presentation • Background • NPC Solution • File Layout

  3. Background • NPC required to comply with FCC 96-128 (Second Order of Reconsideration) released April 5, 2001, on behalf of its clients. • The Order’s requirements included providing 800/access code call data in a “computer-readable format”.

  4. NPC Solution • Three core NPC business requirements: • Receiving, analyzing, and staging of clients’ quarterly toll-free/access code call data. • Creation of PSP/AGGR end-of-quarter files--which replaces previously formatted reports. • Creation of a secure website to facilitate PSP/AGGR downloading of the end-of-quarter files or an e-mail push directly to the PSP/AGGR.

  5. NPC Solution (Continued) • “Secure access” means the NPC provides unique Usernames & Passwords to each PSP/AGGR for accessing their end-of-quarter data only. • To make the downloading effort easy and expedient, end-of-quarter files are compressed.

  6. NPC Solution (Continued) • The new, secure NPC website is www.npc.cc • Core functions of this site include: • Log On Page • Data Retrieving Page • Forgot Password Page • Change Password Page • Report Problem Page • Help Page

  7. NPC Solution (Continued) • Plans are underway to integrate the old www.ppoclear.com website contents with that of the new www.npc.cc website--tentative due date is May 17, 2002. The NPC will provide formal communication to the industry when this transition is complete - stay tuned!
