  4. Learning Outcomes By the end of the lesson students will be able – 1. To recognize some new words with meaning. 2. To read the text with correct pronunciation.

  5. Word Meaning Once At sometime in the past. An animal like a large rabbit with very strong back legs, that can run very fast. Hare

  6. To move or go somewhere by putting one foot in front of the other on the ground, but without running. Walk Next to or at the side of somebody/something. Beside

  10. At a slow speed; not quickly. Slowly To make the sounds and movements of your face that show you are happy or think something is funny. Laugh

  11. To do something more quickly because there is not much time Hurry up Moving or able to move quickly. Faster

  12. Once there was a hare.

  13. He was walking beside a forest.

  14. Suddenly he saw a tortoise.

  15. It was moving very slowly.

  16. He laughed at it saying- “Hurry up, you are so slow. Can’t move a little faster?”

  18. Assessment Answer the following questions: 1. Where does a hare live? 2. How does a tortoise move?
