HIV/AIDS in African, Caribbean and Black Communities • 5,160 ACB people living with HIV in ON, representing 19% of all people living with HIV (2009) • 431 new diagnosed with HIV in ON, representing 28% of all new HIV diagnoses (2009)

ACCHO Vision An environment supportive of those infected and affected by HIV and AIDS, and free of new HIV transmissions.
ACCHO Mission Provide leadership in the response to HIV/AIDS in African, Caribbean and Black communities.
ACCHO Role • Coordinate & support Strategy implementation, revision/renewal, monitoring & evaluation • Advise & advocate on HIV/AIDS & related issues affecting ACB communities • Promote the greater involvement of ACB PHAs in the response • Ensure & maintain the relevance, effectiveness & impact of ACCHO • Engage ACB communities in the response
