Starter - The square game • In groups of 5 • When the game starts open your envelope and look at the pieces. • The game will end when each of you has made a square. Each square must be exactly the same size. • You can pass a piece of card to one of the others but you must not reach out and take one. • There must be no talking during the game and no other communication. • You may at any time refuse to take further part. • The teacher has the right to stop the game at any time.
What is a consumer? We are all consumers and have to make decisions as to how we will spend our money e.g. pocket money and pay A “consumer” is really a “user” • We use goods and services every day. • We travel on buses and trains or in cars. • We occasionally visit a doctor, dentist. • We go to the cinema • We have our hair cut. • We buy clothing and food. • We use coal or oil etc., to keep warm • We expect clean water from the tap • We attend school
