  2. OVERVIEW contd. • A total amount of R803m was committed as development grants. • The total number of households that have benefited from settlement of a total of 75400 claims settled so far is 315 433. • Total claims settled as at 31 March 2009 represents 94.61% of all claims lodged.

EXPENDITURE TILL 30 September 2009 • Structured Financial Reporting Mechanism within National Finance, CLCC and RLCC branches to be devised. • The above would ensure consistency and uniformity in terms of projections and allocations • Variance under the household budget was requested to be adjusted at the EMC 08/09/2009 (Resolution i) 4 4
