  2. Criterion One. MissionThe institution’s mission is clear and articulated publicly; it guides theinstitution’s operations.

  3. Core Components1.A. The institution’s mission is broadly understood within theinstitution and guides its operations.

  4. 1. The mission statement is developed through a process suitedto the nature and culture of the institution and is adopted bythe governing board. Sandra Mabry, Paula Howerton, Donna Shaull, and Pat Crume

  5. 2. The institution’s academic programs, student supportservices, and enrollment profile are consistent with its stated mission. Russell Jones and Tom Tumbleson (LeChelle Davenport was also assigned to this subcomponent.)
