  1. SOUL WINNING and SERVICE God did not have to put us in the equation for people to get saved. He could have had an angel announce it from Heaven to the whole earth every hour on the hour but He did not. Instead God’s equation for getting people saved is: Gospel + Holy Spirit + Saved Sinner + Lost Sinner = Lost Sinner Saved • 180 people die and go out into eternity every 60 seconds. • That is equal to 10,800 souls every hour that die. Matthew 28:18-20And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We are to give the gospel to every person that we can God doesn’t want anyone to die and go to Hell Ezekiel 33:11Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked;but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 2 Peter 3:9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

SOUL WINNING A very powerful verse that tells us to warn others of a burning Hell Ezekiel 33:7‑9 - So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. 8) When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die;if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 9) Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

  4. SOUL WINNING Unless you are trying to win people to Christ you are not following Him. Attending church doesn’t mean you are following Christ Matthew 4:19 ‑ And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. The fact that you are going to be held accountable should drive you to persuade and compel people to be saved. II Corinthians 5:11 ‑ Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. • Persuade - To convince by argument The terror of the Lord for we who are saved is the Judgment Seat of Christ

SOUL WINNING There are many verses in the Word of God that tell us we are supposed to be working at Winning everyone we can to Jesus Christ Romans 6:12‑13Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Luke 14:23 ‑ And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel the to come in, that my house may be filled. Compel ‑ To threaten or force out of necessity. • Salvation is a Person not a plan • Salvation is a Relationship not a religion John 14:6 ‑ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. I John 5:12‑He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

  6. SOUL WINNING GOD HAS TOLD US WHAT TO SAY AND HOW TO SAY WHAT HE TOLD US TO SAY. THE BIBLE IS A BOOK OF MESSAGES AND METHODS. 2 Corinthians 5:18‑20 ‑ And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 1. How would Jesus compel someone to come in? 2. How would Jesus persuade men? Matthew 10:40 ‑ He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. • Consider Who you represent ‑ Christ Jesus Himself. • Consider how you present Him Whom you represent. Romans 1:16 ‑ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 1. You are God's mouthpiece. 2. He just needs someone to give the Gospel.

  7. SOUL WINNING Not only must one know what the message for the sinner is but also one should develop a simple presentation of it. We should know what scriptures to use in pointing a sinner to accept Christ as his Saviour. There is a simple presentation of the gospel called the "RomansRoad" that many soul winners use. It is called the Romans Road because you convey the basic points of the soul winning message from the book of Romans. We show them we can actually KNOW we have eternal life 1 John 5:13These things have Iwrittenunto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may knowthat ye haveeternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. We then go through the four things they must realize 1. We Are All Sinners. • Romans 3:10Romans 3:12Romans 3:23Romans 5:12 2.There’s A Price On Sin, And That Price Is Hell. • Romans 6:23Revelation 20:14‑15Hebrews 9:27 3. Jesus Paid That Price Because He Was Our Substitute. • Romans 5:8John 3:162 Corinthians 5:21 4. Jesus Will Save You If You Will Just Put Your Trust In Him. • Romans 10:9‑10Romans 10:13Acts 16:30‑31John 6:47

  9. SERVICE The steps of growth in the Christian life is • 1 – Student 2 – Soldier 3 – Servant As in nature many young animals die so in Christianity many young die on the vine through deception. In Christianity and in sports few attain the prize of a champion.

SERVICE Matthew 20:25-28But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. In the Christian life there are many paradox • The way you get is by giving – Luke 6:38 • The you are exalted is by humbling yourself – James 4:6-10 • The way you live is by dying – Matthew 10:39, John 12:24 and I Corinthians 15:31 • The way up is down and the way you become the greatest is by serving and helping

SERVICE Galatians 5:13-16For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulful the lust of the flesh.

  12. SERVICE John 13:12-17So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Do you realize what I have done? 13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet;ye also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example,that ye should do as I have done to you. 16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. I JUST WANT TO BE USED IN THE LIFE OF SOMEONE. I WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I DON’T NEED A TITLE. I DON’T NEED A POSITION. I JUST WANT TO BE USED.

SERVICE You cannot serve the Lord without serving people Matthew 25:34-40Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

SERVICE The Apostle Paul gave us the pattern of serving 1 Corinthians 9:19-23For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. 20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; 21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. WHAT DO YOU NEED? WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU? HOW CAN I HELP YOU? WHAT DO YOU NEED ME TO BE FOR YOU?

  15. SERVICE Because being a servant is the highest calling, there are many verses that illustrate this truth Galatians 6:2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Philippians 2:1-4If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. God uses the Apostle Paul to give this charge because we are all naturally selfish and self-centered Philippians 2:20-21For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state. 21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's. 2 Corinthians 12:15And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

  16. SERVICE There is a lot that takes place in a church like ours. • Soulwinning • Visiting • Cleaning • Sunday School • Bus routes • Helping with Administrative work in the office • Taking meals to people

SERVICE Every Child of God needs to serve God put you in this local body because there is something that only you can do that will benefit and build this body or local New Testament church 1 Corinthians 12:20,24-28But now are they many members, yet but one body. 24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: 25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28 And God hath set some in the church, …
