Work Package No. 1. 31st Oct. 2008 – 31st Oct 2010. Management and administration of the project. Quarterly reports about the project implementation. Participation in seminar for partner organizations implementing LLP LdV Transfer of Innovation projects, organized by Lithuanian NA. Overall economics of the project. Coordination of the work packages.
Work Package No. 2 31st Oct 2008 to 21st June 2009 Start up and development of a national implementation strategy for each country Preparation of a national strategy for EQUASS Assurance in Lithuania in the VET sector Preparation of analysis of national market for EQUASS Assurance Starting to set up potential local licence holder in Lithuania – Association of vocational rehabilitation providers of Lithuania. Association will be established until September 2009. Contacts with VR providers who intend to implement the EQUASS Assurance with the aim of being certified. Information dissemination for national and local authorities (key stakeholders) and VR providers about the EQUASS Assurance. Translation of the English EQUASS documentation written by EPR intoLithuanian language.
Market Analysis. Main features. The methods applied: analysis of statiscal data, law, questionnaires to VR providers. • The market of VR is growing in Lithuania • 9 providers • Potentiality to grow • Legislation is very favourable to implementation of QMS • Networks. Association of VR providers.
Why there is a need for QM systems? • The priority for improvement of quality of services are emphasized in social security, health care and vocational rehabilitation policies; • Law on Public procurement includes the article that in tender specifications may be requirement for QM system, that service provider is certified by independent organization.
Why VR providers seek QM certification? • To provide high quality services and to fulfill expectations of clients and stakeholders. • To be competitive in rehabilitation market. • To increase the effectiveness of organization • To ensure continuous improvement and better quality control
What features should QMS have according VR providers? • QMS should be adapted to specific sector and type of services (All respondents) • 4 respondents – QMS should be normative • 4 respondents – QMS should be non-normative
