  6. Combining Sentences • The dogs paws were muddy, and they looked swollen. • Lucinda rescued Chauncey, but she had no place to keep him. • Her brother makes friends easily, and he is on the school baseball team

  7. Your job • Write 8 compound sentences. Each sentence must use one of your vocabulary words from this week. • You are not allowed to use I in any of your sentences!!! You are not allowed to use pronouns to begin your sentences. You must have proper punctuation. • We will do the first word together.
