  2. surrealism • The surrealism art wasfirstdeveloped in the early 20th century in Europe. Itconsistin the art of dreams, its real things in a completlydiferent and not normal order, thingwith no sence. The mostimportantartists of thismovementswere Salvador Dalí and man ray

  3. SYmbolism • Thesymbolism art movementwerecreated in France in the late 19th century. Edgar Allan Poe worksinfluted a lot in thefirstartiststhatcreatedthismovement. This art movement uses religion, spirituality and imagination. Themainartist of thisgenre are Hugo Simbert and ViktorVasnetsov.

  4. Abstract expresionism AbstractimpresionismwasanEuropeanmovement of the mid 20th century. It consisted in trowing the paint in the art piece to create movements with the emotions and way of moving the paint brush, this artistic movement is also considerate action painting. The most representative artists are Jackson Pollock and Vasil Kandinski.

  5. Abstract art • Abstract art emerged in 1892, whenRusianpaintorswereboredbythetradition of paintingrealism. It uses primarycolors and basiscshapesto show random figures thattheartisthad in mind. Two of themostrecognizedartists are VasilKandisnky and Cadler.

  6. Fauvism • Thismovement emerged in 1900 in France, thisistheshortestmovement in thislist, itonlylasted 8 years, thismovementhave a lot of influence of impresionismbecause of the use of strongcolors and fastpainting. Themostfamousartists of thismovementwere Henri Matisse and AndreDerain.

  7. cubism • Thismovementwascreatedby Pablo Picasso, alsoone of themostimportantartist in thismovement, thismovementwascreated in 1910 in Spain, thismovementconsists in making normal thingsbutusinggeometricshapes. AnotherinfluentialartistwasGeorges Braque.

  8. dada • Itwascreated in Switzerland in 1916, itconsists in collage and randomimages in the collage, itwascreated in France. Dada means a frenchtoy. One of themostimportantartistwere Marcel Duchamp.

  9. Expressionism • Thisartisticmovementwascreated in theearly 1920´s century in Germany. Thismovementwascreatedbetweenthetwoworldwars, and itinflutedbythesuferingpeople in Germany, theartistpaintedtheirrealities. ThemostfamousartistwereEdvardMunch and Ernest Ludwig Kirchner.

  10. EdvardMUnch • EdvardMunchwasborn in Løtern, Norwayin December 12, 1863. when he was 1 yearold he moved to Oslo, 15 yearslater he discoveredhispassiontopaint. Thescreamwashismost popular painting, when he wasmakingtheartpiece he imagine thattheriverturned red as blood and skywasfire. • I choosedEdvarMunchbecause i think he had a greattalentpainting and alsothestorybehindthescreamisveryinteresting. I choosethescreambecause i likethe red colorsand itsalsoone of themostfamousartworks in thisartisticmovements.

  11. UmbertoGiangardi • UmabertoGiangardiwasborn in 1943 in Firenze, Italy, he moved toColombia in 1954 and beganhis art career, he alsois a drawer. He teachedlitografy in Medellinand now he is a teacher in Los andes university . He isrelatedtothismovementbecauseit uses almostthesamedrawingform.
