German unification as a nation By: Omar El-Mousa 8C
introduction • The formal unification of Germany was in 1871 in Versailles palace in the hall of mirrors In France. Over 300 independent states unified into one country (Germany).
Change • Since Germany has become a nation all the people that were from the 300 sates have to unify and become one nation. Also everyone will be under one government and one leader which at that time period was prince Frederick. The Germans also have to follow all the laws instated by their government because it might have been different in over 300 sates.
citizenships • I believe this event is a good example of citizenship because All the Germans have to work In unison and be active citizens by helping around in the community and being involved in the community for example: help build facilities, or clean up areas or donate money to the city to help make the city innovative and developed.
Effect if the event did not happen • Germany took a big part in world war II so if they did not become a nation world war II wouldn’t have been brutal as it was. Also Germans have very advanced and innovative technology so if they did not unify we might not have all that.
