  3. ESG - MATCH • 2012-13 ESG Grant (Grant Term: October 1, 2012 – September 30, 2013) • MSHDA Requirement: 50% of Community’s Total Award Amount excludingCoC Coordination

  4. ESG - MATCH • Match must be provided during the same term as the grant • Source and amount has not already been committed as match for another state/federal program

  5. ESG - MATCH • No reciprocal match • Must be used for ESG eligible activities • Must be used for ESG eligible clients • Must document same way as ESG funding (i.e. quarterly reporting)

  6. ESG - Match Sources • Cash • In-kind • Volunteers @ $10 p/hour (not tied to a specific job)

  7. Ineligible Sources SHP Housing Choice Vouchers SNAP Benefits HOME/TBRA

  8. ESG - MATCH Record keeping • Must indicate the particular fiscal year grant for which each matching contribution has been counted. • Records must identify where the contribution was derived

  9. ESG - MATCH Record Keeping • Proof – award letter from source • New Match Tracking Form provided for quarterly reporting to MSHDA
