  2. Definitions Histogram: Frequency Histogram: Relative Frequency Histogram: A bar graph that shows the frequency of data from the Heights of the bars. The bars ARE ALWAYS connected. Displays the number of values that fall into each interval. Displays the percent of values that fall into each interval.

  3. Frequency Histogram: What is the size of each interval on the horizontal axis? How many students scored less than a 60% on the final exam? 20 points 30 students

  6. Constructing a Freq. Histogram • Math Test scores: 75 67 93 99 81 85 92 50 80 94 51 96 85 73 84 82 91 87 77 78 73 86 71 77 85 Construct a frequency histogram to display the test scores. Use five equal size intervals. *Range: 99 – 50 = 49 ; 49 / 5 ≈ 10 even intervals
