Sponge Answer • Felony: Crime punishable by a heavy fine, imprisonment, or even death (Murder, robbery, assault, or kidnapping) • Misdemeanor: a lessor wrong and may be punished by a lighter fine and/or shorter jail term. (Traffic Violation, underage drinking)
