Shared Educational Entity (SEE) • A SEE is an Early/Middle College that enrolls students from multiple districts. • It allow districts to report students in an entity (the E/MC) not within the district's hierarchy. • This model requires a new entity code.
School Within a School (SWS) • Operates within an existing high school. Some students attend the regular high school for 4 years, other students participate in a 5 year program.

If you are opening a new Early/Middle College, it will be necessary to establish a new EEM entity code. If you have a current school that will become an Early/Middle College, the current EEM record will need to be modified. In either case, please send an e-mail message with the details to CEPI@michigan.gov or call 517-335-0505.
