What services does EOPS provide? EOPS provides the following services to eligible students: • Priority registration • Academic, career and personal counseling • Tutoring • Textbook services • Workshops • Application fee waivers for CSU’s and UC’s
Who is eligible? To be considered for EOPS, you must: In addition you must meet one of the following: Be below the minimum level English or math courses required for an associate degree Be a non high school graduate or GED Have been previously enrolled in remedial courses Be a first generation college student Be an emancipated foster youth • Be a California resident • Qualify for a Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver (BOGW) method A or B in the Financial Aid Office • Enroll in a minimum of 12 units • Have completed less than 70 college, degree applicable units

What are the benefits of joining EOPS? EOPs goals and objectives are in assisting low income college students. There are many comprehensive services available to assist students in reaching academic success and graduation. At Mt. Sac some of the main benefits include receiving: • Academic Counseling • Free Academic Tutoring • Access to an EOP student exclusive Computer Lab and study lounge
