  5. The Diploma Programme Hexagon Students study concurrently over 2 years :- • three subjects at higher level (240 hours each). • three subjects at standard level(150 hours each). • all three parts of the core.

  6. Compulsory core • Extended Essay (EE) - 4000 word piece of independent research - 40 hours • Theory of Knowledge (TOK)- essay and oral presentation - 100 hours • Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) - 150 hours

  7. Grading for the Diploma • Each of the six subjects graded 1–7 • TOK + EE worth max of 3 bonus points • Minimum requirement is 24 points • Maximum possible is 45 points
