  2. Motivation At present, FMIP6 describes a protocol to reduce the handover latency of MIPv6. In order to follow the fast handoff procedure, MN has to acquire the information of NAR, namely (AP-ID, AR-Info) tuple, from PAR before handoff. How to build the (AP-ID,AR-info)s tuple for MN?

  3. Current practices • FMIP6 -MN gets information from PAR; • MIH (Akbar Rahman, Robert Hancock) -Describe some solutions how to transport MIH messages securely from MN to MM or vice versa. These works do not specify how AR/MM gathers (AP-ID, AR-Info )s.
