CMFSC 2011 Successes • CMFSC accepted into the BCSPL (BC Soccer Premier League) • 15% increase in 2011 – 2012 club registration • 1 team representing CMFSC at Canadian Club Nationals • 6 of 7 Y-League teams qualified for North American Finals • 6 teams qualified for Provincial B Cup with 1 Gold Medal (U15 Girls Threat) • 11 of the 36 (30%) players selected for Under 14 Whitecaps Residency from CMFSC • 3 of the 5 Under 16 Residency players selected from BC, were from CMFSC.

Mini Season Schedule • Posted online at www.bcsoccerpremierleague.net • All teams will receive 7 scheduled league games regardless of the number of teams in their division. • For those teams not travelling to the Okanagan and Island, teams will be allocated funds to use to toward tournament entry or other travel opportunities. • Season runs from September 17/18 weekend to November 12/13 weekend. • No scheduled games on Thanksgiving weekend. • Players released after this weekend in preparation for Y-League North American Finals.
BCSPL Fees Includes the following: • League Registration Fee • Club Administration • Website Support • BCPSL Technical Director Staff • Coaching Costs • Goalkeeping Coach • Travel Costs (expect 2 trips to Island & 2 to Okanagan in full-season) • Referee Costs • Equipment, Balls & Cones • Uniforms, Training Gear, Track-suits, etc. • Soccer Equipment • Game Day Miscellaneous Costs Notes for mini season • one trip to Island & one to Okanagan • We are trying to minimize the costs as much as possible, therefore, there will only be a uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks) included. The full equipment package will be given for those players that are selected to continue in the 2012 Season. • BCSPL players follow the same club registration payment processes as all the other club members. The only difference with registration is BCSPL teams do not register with the local Youth District.

University Scouting Booklet • Completed for U16, U17, & U18 BCSPL Players • Profiles are compiled and sent to all BC Colleges and Universities with varsity soccer programs. • They will also be provided for teams that are travelling to showcase tournaments to use for distribution at the tournaments. • Players now have a format to sent individual profiles to Universities
Whitecaps Showcase Tournament Purpose Showcase players to top schools in North America Age Groups U15, U16, U17/18 divisions Dates & Location • Girls – March 17-19 • Boys – March 23-25 • All games held at Newton Athletic Park Notes: • No cost to BCSPL players • No other teams will be invited from BC • Whitecaps Scouting Opportunity
Adidas Champions Cup Age Group U18 Girls & Boys Dates: October 8th – 9th Location: Trillium Fields, Vancouver Cost: Complimentary – no cost Winning Men’s & Women’s teams will be presented the Adidas Champion’s Cup by a Whitecaps FC Player as well as receive one ticket for each player to attend a Vancouver Whitecaps FC Match and receive 200 Adidas posters of their “Championship” photo. Additional awards will include: Tournament MVP, Golden Boot, Best Defender, and Best Goalkeeper. Recipients of each award will also receive a pair of Adidas’ top soccer boots; the adiZero F50, or adiPower Predator.
CMFSC Team Coaching Staff • Bios on CMFSC BCSPL page. • All Head Coaches have a history with CMFSC as former players, current players, and long-term coaches. • 13 of the coaches are former or current CMFSC players
Training Expectations • 3 training sessions per week – 1.5 hours • Boys – Monday, Wednesday & Thursdays • Girls – Tuesday, Wednesday & Fridays • Two team training sessions per week and one 4v4 session.
Player Evaluation/Selection 2012 Season • Player evaluation & selection process timelines will be set from the league. • Rosters set, prior to January 2012.

What is the Difference? • Last year’s Metro ($400) & Y-League($1200)- total $1600 • Equipment will now be included (track-suits, etc.) • Travel is included – Okanagan & Island • 4v4 was sponsored by the club last year as a pilot – fortunate to have it last season • 3 times per week of training for 10 months • Coaching Compensation • As a CMFSC member, you have benefited from the lower costs of volunteer coaching in the past. • More quality Games. • CMFSC continues make it a goal, to deliver the best programming for the least amount of registration
