6. Front cover ideas For my front cover I decided to look at current hip hop magazines such a xxl and vibe for inspiration. I have come to the conclusion that if I was to use a male for my front cover I would use a close up shot of their face to show expression and power but if I was to use a woman I would use a mid shot to show the body adding sex appeal to the magazine which would also help sell the magazine.

7. Editorial mission statement My magazine is to inform the younger generations, e.g. People in their late teens and 20’s of up and coming hip hop artists. Our aim is to find the newest artists and expose them to the public helping to kick starting their careers. We will also aim to keep the reader informed about well known hip hop artists.

8. Unique Selling Point the unique selling point for fracas magazine is that the main focus of the magazine is to introduce to the public new up and coming hip hop artists. But to still keep the usual audience I will incorporate more well known artists too. along with this I will also have concert ticket competitions on a regular basis.

9. Reader profile My ideal reader is in their late teens to mid twenties with a relatively disposable income. Probably male but a minority of women will be in our audience, has a passion for hip hop, rap and maybe R&B music, wanting to stand out from the majority of other hip hop fans by knowing the newest artists rising to fame.
