  2. Idea 1- “Now and then” My first magazine idea, it’s main aim is to mix the 1930 jazz and swing music so Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin with today’s versions of them such as ProleteR. The name Now and then is used to suggest the mix of old and new music that relates to the genre, this makes the magazine unique as it creates the chance for those who enjoy the genre to learn of the older music as well as suggesting newer artists in the genre, the amount of pages will be around 70- 80 pages, the content will include interviews with newer artists in the genres, any information about gigs around the UK, older artists from the 1930s and possibly helpful tips for those who play instruments. The target audience for the magazine would be Males and Females in their twenties who enjoy listening to relaxing music such as swing and jazz, they also enjoy to read shorter magazines in their free time as the larger ones begin to bore them towards the end, other things they do in their free time could be playing musical instruments linked with this genre, they may also enjoy seeing the bands in this genre first, they also enjoy dressing well and take care in their appearance.

  6. Front page • The front page will be lively and contain a picture from a rave in a night club from the past, the lettering will also seem lively to match alongside the music style.
