Education without Technology • Before the advancement of technology in schools, the process of educating was slow. The teacher stood before at a chalkboard and wrote out all problems, assignments and homework. • The materials needed for class were a #2 pencil, paper, the text book and basic calculator. • Students used the Card Catalogs in the Library to find books to write research papers. Those research papers were typed out on a Typewriter.
