  3. Location • Estonia is located in the northwestern part of the East-EuropeanPlain • transition zone from maritime to continental climate • The main factor influencing the climate of Estonia is the Atlantic Ocean.

  4. Temperature • In July (warmest month) +17C • In February (coldest month) -5C average • The lowest measured was -43,5C in 1940 • The highestrecorded figure was +35,6C in 1992

  5. Winds • Prevailing winds blow from the south-west and west. • Average speed of wind in year: • 6 m/s on the coast • 4 m/s further inland • The windiest place-Isle of Osmussaar

  6. Humidity • Estonia is located in a region of humid climate • About 160 to 180 rainy days a year • Average humidity of the air is 80- 83%

  7. Seasons • Four seasons: • Spring • Summer • Autumn • Winter • The average duration of snow cover during winter is 75–135 days

  8. Summary • Estonia weather is really beautiful, because there are many different varieties. • Four wonderful seasons. • There isn’t too cold or too warm.
