All around the room I see • Things that I can measure • What should I use to measure these things(CLAP) • How ‘bout some meters • Meters tell me how long things are • Even how tall or the distance apart • Using meters is like an art (CLAP) • I like those meters • (CLAP) (CLAP) (CLAP) (CLAP) • Now I look again and see • More things that I could measure • What should I use to measure these things (CLAP) • How ‘bout some liters • Liters tell me the volume of things • Like how much liquid is in a vase • Using liters is so much fun (CLAP) • I love those liters • (CLAP) (CLAP) (CLAP) (CLAP) • Once again I look and see • More things that I could measure • What should I use to measure these things (CLAP) • How ‘bout some grams • Grams tell me how heavy things are • Like the mass of a mini guitar • Using grams helps me out (CLAP) • I like those grams • (CLAP) (CLAP) (CLAP) (CLAP) • Using the metric system • Helps me understand • The weight, or height, or volume of things (CLAP) • Around the world • What if I moved to Asia one day • I would be clueless on what they say • Without the marvelous metric system (CLAP) • I would be lost! • Meters, Liters, and Grams • (sung to the tune of Pop Goes the Weasel) • By: Angelica Adame
