Thirty Fifth APEC Transportation Working Group Meeting, Bangkok, Thailand, 20-24 February 2012 Background 2/2 Promotion through national infrastructural projects In 2002, “The e-Taiwan Program” was adopted as a key component of the "Challenge 2008: the 6-Year National Development Plan", ITS projects were under e-Life which is one of the five core initiatives: e-Infrastructure, e-Government, e-Industry, e-Life, and e-Opportunity. In 2009 and 2010, “The Intelligent Taiwan Projects” and “The i-Taiwan 12 Projects” were launched. ITS master plans’ development in Chinese Taipei The 2001 version and 2004 version.
