Why SMSDU? • Formulate binding strategic document regarding staff/faculty development policy at the participating universities • Define conditions for the accreditation of staff/faculty development programs • Provide outline of minimal requirements for the promotion of staff and faculty based on CPD credits • Outline organizational structure of the staff/faculty development unit & educational consultancy service at universities • Promote the concept of the advanced postgraduate certification programs for educators and trainers (MEd, DBA in HED) • Initiate applied research projects in educational developments in HED SCM TEMPUS - SMSDU - Zagreb, November, 2004.
