POINT OF VIEWWho is telling the story/Writer’s choice of narrator 1st Person- • The narrator is a character in the story • Uses pronouns like I and me tor refer to themselves • Describes his/her own thoughts, feelings, and impressions • Does NOT know what other characters are thinking 3rd Person Limited- • The narrator is NOT in the story • Narrator tells thoughts and feelings of only ONE character 3rd Person Omniscient- • The narrator is NOT in the story • Narrator tells the thoughts and feelings of ALL the characters
