Career Pathways in Security Industry • After completing the course there are number of career options in security field/sector like: • Security Officer (Control Room/Mobile Patrol/Armed/Unarmed) • Cash in Transit Security • Coordinator of Control Room Operations • Security Coordinator • Security Operation Manager

  3. Eligibility Criteria • In order to get a security guard licence in NSW Candidate must: • 18 years of ager or over • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen • Be competent and physically fit to do activities. • Have successfully completed the required training as well as assessment.

  4. Duration of the course • It is a full time course of total 102 hours of classroom based study. • Total duration is 10 days. • The timing of the course is 8 am – 7 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday) • For weekends the timing of the NSW security licence course is 8 am – 7 pm (5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays) • It includes all learning, classroom activities and assessment.

  5. Course Structure • The course has been divide into 5 modules, which needs to be completed in order to get a security licence in NSW. • If candidate failed to pass/complete the first module, he/she will not allow to continue with the course. • Candidate have to complete first fours modules in order to take the module 5 which is Closed Book Exam.

After that send back that form with all relevant required documents through email/fax/post
