Introduction On successful completion of this Forklift Licence course you will receive a Statement of Attainment Licence to operate a forklift truck issued by Start Training, and a temporary Forklift Licence; Licence to Perform High Risk Work. This temporary licence needs to be submitted to Australia Post within 60 days of completion of course. You will then be sent the five year licence. Start Training also provides onsite forklift training where our trainers come to you in all areas, saving you time and money. We can design a forklift training program around your requirements which can include beginner training, refresher courses or verification of competencies to ensure your licensed operators are driving safely.

  3. How to Attain Forklift Licence NSW? Working at heights is always a risk included. We have at all levels seen that while working at great heights workers often have suffered many accidents and injuries and at times the injuries have also proved to be fatal. Many workers have at times lost their lives due to this. Hence in order to save the workers from this major accidents the government of Australia has launched a regulatory preventive measure that any candidate who opts to operate elevated forklifts must have attained the Forklift Licence NSW. In case the candidate does not possess this licence he would not be considered fit to operate forklifts. It has been made mandatory by the government of Australia to attain this licence in order to be a forklift driver.

  4. Types of Forklift Licences There are mainly two types of forklift licences: Class LO Licence: Class LO Licence course covers all the requirements for an order picking forklift. This is a High Risk Work Licence in order to operate heavy forklifts on a Boom Elevated Work Platform. Class LF Licence: Class LF Licence to operate forklifts is the course about operating reach trucks and high reach forklifts in Australia. It is mainly a 3 day training and costs $500 per person.

  5. About the Training The training is basically a three day course where the first two days the candidate is trained to operate the various forklift instruments and on the third day the candidate is assessed for the entire training. Regular boom lift training courses are held along with this course in a cost effective price. If a candidate has reached a certain level of skills on the basis of the theoretical and practical basis. Once the candidate successfully completes the training he is given the HRW licence assessment.
