Keith Kellogg II of Rancho Santa Fe pledged to help CSUSM build a permanent library on campus. The Kellogg’s gave over $6.4M to the university over the years, including $1M in 1996 toward construction of the Kellogg Library. The size of their first gift to CSUSM in 1992? $300
