1. 2/201 CIMICCourse of Action Statement Sketch • Task 1: 201 Corps establishes a Corps CIMIC and HA Operations Center (CMOC) near 2/201 BDE HQ near Asadabad. • Task 1A: Plan for and conduct humanitarian assistance operations in the Asadabad region. • Task 1B: Coordinate for receipt and delivery of HA supplies • Task 1C: Complete a civil assessment focused on planning for future HA and disaster relief operations. • Task 2: Coordinate with Provincial and District Governor’s offices to re-establish governance control in the Asadabad area. • Task 2A – coordinate for the re-opening of Provincial Line Directorate offices • Taski 2B – Conduct shuras with local tribal and religious leaders • Task 3: Deliver coordinated IO Messages through local media. • Task 3A - support IO in passing out messages • Task 3B – coordinate with local radio as necessary. • T4: Coordinate for and support Reintegration operations 1 Stand up Prov and Dist Governance 2 1 Route for HA Supplies 2 (U) Nonlethal Concept of the Operation: during combat operations to increase security in Kunar Province, 2nd Brigade, 201 Corps conducts Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) and Information Operations (IO) in order to gain support of the local populace for increased security, ANSF and GIROA, and rejection of insurgent efforts. During Phase I, 2/201 BDE will .
