  1. Build QS 77

  2. Currently new GABO accounts are granted one free domain per credit card with the opportunity to purchase more. The screen that allows these new customers to register additional domains has become a target for fraudulent scripts. To reduce the amount of fraudulent domains obtained, we now have several credit card checks to tighten account functionality. In addition, we are changing the behavior on this domain screen, as currently the user can continue to return to this screen multiple times in a row with the same credit card. Now, the first time a customer comes through this flow, they can select the one free domain and the maximum number of suggestions to purchase (8). Google: Restrict Domains

  3. Google: Restrict Domains • When customers return to this screen to purchase additional domains, we will only allow them to purchase additional domains if their billing transaction was successful. If not and it has been less than 24 hours, customers will receive the message “Allow 24 hours for your account to be updated.” After 24 hours, an unsuccessfully billed customer will receive the message “There is a problem with the billing method on your account. Go to https://websites.intuit.com/~site/jws/accountBilling.action to update your payment method.” You may assist a customer in adding additional domains during this 24 hour hold period through the CRM after ensuring the credit card is valid.

  4. Chat Support for GABO Chat Support for GABO In an effort in increase our VOC and decrease AHT, chat support will now be used to support Google customers instead of eTicket. The only customers that will continue to use Help Tickets at this time are Design Services customers. For Google customers who’s free year has expired or they have upgraded their base package, they will see the ‘Chat Live’ option in the Help Menu of their LIS. For Google customers that are still in their free year and have not upgraded their base package, nothing will change on their help menu and they will not see the ‘Chat Live’ option. They can however receive assistance through chat on the Contact Us page. Customers who have upgraded can choose to use chat or call a Web Advisor for assistance.

  5. Post Publish Notifications Google customers now receive a series of emails designed to help them publish their site and encourage them to take a deeper look into our offerings. While last build released the pre-publish emails, this build now focuses on emails for our post-publish customers. Customers will receive an email congratulating them the day they publish their new website. If the customer fails to claim their domain within two days of publishing, they will receive a second email reminding them to claim their free custom domain.

  6. Duda Mobile • Our mobile optimized sites with the partnership with Duda Mobile continue to be well-received and is now available to 40-50% of customers. With this Build, our customers that have no domains on any site and those who have registered all of their domains after QS74 will now have access.

  7. Suppress PayPal • As indicated in a recent build, ShopKeeper is our new and improved version of Simple Store available to new customers. New customer can now have PayPal on their accounts after signing up for IWP. Within SB+, the PayPal button/cart elements are removed for – the payment button is molded just like Simple Store – via the ecom payment tab. • Remember that ShopKeeper is still only available for customers new to ShopKeeper. Migrating current Simple Store customers is still a work in progress. As of today, there are no PayPal SK users, so we are adding the ability.  Existing PayPal users will continue to have the buttons on their site and in the palette.

  8. Testing Freemium on Homestead • Currently Homestead.com receives 30% of our traffic but has the lowest conversion rate of any of our properties. To drive more conversions through this site, the Homestead.com site is now conducting an A/B test regarding the addition of Freemium to the Homestead site and re-designing the look and feel to make it more user-friendly. Depending on the results from this test, we may implement Freemium accounts on Homestead.

  9. Build QS 78Rebranding

  10. Rebranding • This build is focused on the rebranding efforts of both Homestead and Intuit’s LIS/LOS to reflect the migration to Endurance. On Intuit’s LIS/LOS, all “Intuit Websites” logos and verbiage have been replaced with “Intuit Websites Powered by Homestead.” We also removed “An Intuit Company” from the Homstead logo.

  11. The Terms of Service and other legal pages were updated to reflect the new brand. When a customer logs into their account for the first time, they will be asked to review and accept the updated Terms of Service.

  12. New Phone/Chat Greeting • Effective immediately, when answering the phone or a chat, use the greeting: “Thank you for calling Intuit and Homestead Websites”… Email Signature Make sure to update your email signature. To change your signature in Outlook, go to Tools < Options < Mail Format < Signatures. In the future, there will be more changes made to the signature as we continue the migration to Endurance. The change is highlighted below: Dominick Maldonado | Web Advisor | Intuit Websites powered by Homestead Looking for help from other Small Businesses and Web Advisors? Yes! 13. Build QS 79 The following are the key features being released with QS79. The majority of our PM/PD resources are continually focused on rebranding Intuit and Homestead. Our PM team is also focused on a lot of back-end work for upcoming builds such as sign up flows, IWP/Shopkeeper, Community migration, network migrations, etc.

  14. DudaMobile Launching to 100% With this build, we are now launching mobile to 100% of users (excluding Verizon) that have a domain name registered.  We decided to stop offering it to customers that don't have a domain to reduce the issue of having to change the associate site names on *.intuitwebsites.com to *.homestead.com until after the Endurance rebranding efforts.   There will be a Mobile option on the Websites manager page with a button to Get Started. This is where customers can setup their DudaMobile account. Remember to check the Mobile Page on the Inbound Site for prices, features, elements converted, support transfer options and FAQs.

  15. DudaMobile Selling Mobile SEM DudaMobile has a small outreach team that will be calling all Duda customers to help them grow their business. The outreach team are selling mobile SEM (mobile only Google AdWords) on top of the Duda sites. There is a basic form on the websites for customers to sign up for this now through DudaMobile. If you receive a call from a customer regarding this outreach campaign, please transfer the customer to DudaMobile.Continued RebrandingStorefront: Removed Intuit from header and footer and replaced with Homeastead.Sitebuilder Desktop-removed all mention of Intuit during Installation, icons, directory and footer content.
