IAM Migration Overview • Changes made to the IAM migration for this build: • Improved messaging for customers • Improved error handling and error messaging • Added links to password reset • Fixed bugs in older Firefox versions that prevented error messages from displaying (making it appear to loop) • Limited the number of users who are asked to complete the login migration
IAM Migration Overview • Users are going to migrate from their Homestead login to the Intuit Account Management (IAM login process • Affected users include: • Long-time Homestead customers • Those who signed up for our services by phone • Those who have an Intuit identity and don’t know it
IAM Migration • When logging in, users will be asked to update their password • In some cases, they may need to pick a new IAM identity • If a user is stuck or confused, the easiest option is to create a new identity • Update is mandatory at login for select customers
IAM Migration Scenarios • HS e-mail address is available in the IAM; the current HS password isn’t strong enough for IAM • HS e-mail address matches one IAM ID • HS e-mail address matches multiple IAM IDs or e-mail accounts
Setting a New Password If successfully converted, users see this confirmation dialog before going on to LIS:
Multiple IAM Accounts You have the option of randomly choosing or associate the one that most identifies with your business. How will I know which IAM user ID I should associate with my HS account?
