Charts • Graphical presentation for numeric data • Widely used for presenting tabular data • Advantages: • enhance the reader's understanding by visualizing the data through a simple graphical format • facilitate data analysis and interpretation by summarizing the results
Types of chart • Bar chart • demonstrate the relative values of quantities • Pie chart • Show the relative proportions of quantities • Line chart • demonstrate a trend or a relationship between two properties
Graphical Presentations • Understand easily • Can be presented clearly through illustrations • Advantages: • Arouse the interest of audience • illustrate abstract concepts through the image of concrete objects • Present information in a more organized manner

Collecting and Selecting Appropriate Information • Collected from various sources • e.g. library, the internet • Should be carefully studied, filtered and organized • precise and concise • required to make a note of the source to give credit to the authors of the information
