Smart regulation at regional and local level in Sweden - Basis • Businesses have regular contacts with authorities on local and regional level • To make a significant positive change in day-to-day business • An inventory of the problems by the Agency for economic and regional growth in December 2008 • Two assignments in June 2010
Two long-term assignments • The Government decides on two long-term assignments in June 2011 • Progress reports in March each year with a final report March 2015 • Including funding for 2011-2014 (20,4 million SEK approx. 2 million EUR) • With the purpose to make it easier for business in their contacts with authorities on local and regional level and therefore contribute to the overall target
Important aspects of the assignments • To fulfil actions • Communication with businesses • Focus on what businesses finds most important • Propose sub targets and indicators for actions taken • Information and education to representatives from authorities
