1-14-13 Monday Biology Objective: Continue to demonstrate an understanding of DNA; review for formative assessments. • Bell Ringer 29 ( 7 min, 23min review • Questions over Review Packet One ( 5- 10 min) • Start Review Packet 2 ( every 7-10minutes we will share, so be prepared to share your work ) • Closure : Reminders Reminders • Review Packet one ( daily grade); Packet two ( quiz grade)- Packets due the day you take your test. Use these to study. Remember half your grade is based on in class participation! So STAY on task! • Formatives start this Wednesday • Check Skyward Daily ( take care of ANY zeros/missing work by this Thursday) • Tomorrow: Organic Molecules review

Write a two paragraph summary over the clip and what you have learned from your teachers regarding biological organization Chemistry: Objective: Review for formative assessment ( matter and the periodic table, atomic structures, chemical reactions, chemical bonding • Bell Work: Electron Configuration ( 10 min, 5 min review) • Web Activity ( proceed to the library) • Closure: Reminders ( formatives are this week so study, check skyward for missing work to turn in no later than Thursday)
1-15-13 Biology Objective: review for formative assessments( demonstrate an understanding of cell respiration , photosynthesis, cell structure and function, organic molecules and cellular processes. • Review objective ( 2-3 min) • Work on benchmark review- Chapters 2, 7, 8, 9 – you may work quietly with your partner ONLY. No side discussions, stay on task (45 min) 30 min work time, 15 minutes share/review • Closure: Reminders Reminders • Review Packet one ( daily grade); Packet two ( quiz grade)- Packets due the day you take your test. Take your time • If you finish early, work on your review ( it’s a quiz grade), your MP2 packet, any failed or missing assignments. Breakdown illustrations Read and re-read Underline the question and box/bracket important or key words Notes; make them to the side about what you remember Cancel out/ eliminate at least two answer choices Hand pick the best answer choice from the two you have remaining.

Formative review covers chapters 2, 7-9 • Closure: Reminders Noise Level: 0-1 You may listen to music while you work independently. It must stay at a level where only YOU can here it. You must stay on task. No side conversations.
