Why use PDF • Distribute formatted documents in a universally accessible format • PDF viewing is a familiar task for most • PDF files can be viewed cross platform (PC/Mac/UNIX/Palm) • Viewer is free

Special Trick • If Adobe Reader 6 is installed before you install the Palm Reader you can use • File | Send to Palm • Or Right Click on any local PDF file • Docs are automatically transferred to the conduit and then to the Palm at next hotsync
Palm Reader Preferences • With Palm in cradle • Click Get Best Settings, then… • Press Hotsync button
