TF3: Database Characteristics • Accomplishments • Document outline with author assignments • Challenge arose: • Broad coverage of “all possible” method issues • Solution, Portland: Focus! • Address head-on two key LCI method issues: • Allocation • Consequential / Attributional • Finalize / present in Lille • Input to major LCA applications: green building

TF5: Capacity: 2004 • Establishment of Regional LCA Networks • Africa (May 2004) • South East Asia (October 2004 – AIST/APEC) • Latin America (2004… including October 2004) • Charters, action plans • Book and proposal in Latin America • Initial websites; begin exchange among networks • Broadening participation to additional regions

TF 4 Approach 2005 • Review existing meta-analyses, ID expert teams • Identify key application areas/topics: • Extensive LCA coverage • High policy/market relevance • Funding / resources • First round of meta-analyses; • Convene and review results and findings • Refine/define a sustainable process • Launch program for sustainable library
