Robbing God • The Problem (v. 6-9) What is a tithe? • Literally – “The tenth part” or “one tenth” • First appears in Genesis 14.20 • Instituted through God’s Command – “Every tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the LORD’s; it is holy to the LORD.” Leviticus 27.30
