  10. COA 4 – “Hybrid ANA/ANP” What we know • ANA does not have existing extra capacity: • ANA does not have extra distribution capacity • Cooperation between MoI and MoD is almost non-existent • The inter-ministerial MoU between MoI and MoD is not applied What we think • Opportunities exist to build area of cooperation in the future, but will require engagement at the ministerial level (10 year objective) • Focus on cooperation at the National and regional level What we need • What can be co-located, cooperated, integrated? • Fuel, Ammo, Food, Vehicle Spares/Maint, Weapons Maint

  12. COA 4 – “Hybrid” • Full integration is not possible in the next 2 years • 3 level of potential cooperation • Strategic • Operational • Tactical • Integration is not a singular COA, but rather must be considered for all COA (identified as common COA dev factor) • More work required to develop areas of possible cooperation Last Updated: 29 Sep 11 POC: Col Nultsch, CJ4

  14. Wargaming/Walkthrough Rules • Remain patient • Remain unbiased • Remain positive • List advantages and disadvantages (as found) • Continually assess COA feasibility, acceptability, and suitability • Avoid drawing premature conclusions and gathering facts to support such conclusions • Compare COAs during comparison process: Not during war game • Looking to refine the current COA’s

  15. COA Walkthrough • End-to-End system check – “how do xxx sustain themselves within the COA, is the CONOPS valid” • AUP – RC-W, RC-N • ABP – Green Border, Blue Border sites in RC-S, RC-E • ANCOP – Deployed to RC-S, RC-E • ALP – RC-S, RC-E • GDPSU - RC Capital, RC-SW • Discussion and refinement is essential
