  2. Recruitment Planning & Status • Metro 7 ‘Collective’ MOU signed • Advertised internally and externally • MCMPC appointed NPC March 2010 (undertaking equivalency with NBV) • SEPC appointed NPC March 2010 (undertaking equivalency with NBV) • Bethlehem Calvary no NPC in place

Current Key Activities • Reviewing documentation – Service Model & five year plan • Planning for first Management Group meeting • Clinical Leadership Group nominations – to meet April / May • Advertising & RECRUITMENT • Formal & informal liaison with key stakeholders – regional and metro • NBV communications ++ re equivalency process etc.

  4. Suggestions on how Collaborative could provide assistance • Provision of documentation templates: Candidacy program – eg curriculum, personal learning plan, mentor reports, logbooks etc Portfolio development Specific education requirements – eg advanced communication skills • Medical mentoring / supervision models

  5. Timeline • Interview / employ three NPCs by end May 2010 • Management group meeting April 2010 • Clinical Leadership Group meeting April 2010 • Keep informed of all projects within local region - ongoing

  6. Specific Challenges • RECRUITMENT • Ongoing development of model – how does this translate into practice • Accessing resources for mentoring, support and education • Development of consistent Curriculum Guidelines • Masters qualification and equivalency issues
