Getting a Bio Hand started • Trace your hand (or hands)…neatly and carefully. • Begin to fill the inside and outside of the hand with your symbols • Begin to add color
How will I be graded… • Did you fill your hand and the outside area with symbols representing your life? • Did you add color areas? • Did you use the colored pencils neatly and blend smoothly? • Is your work neat…did you show you care? • Does your design reflect yourself? • Did you present your design to the class and complete your reflection sheet? Reflection sheet…what’s that?
Self Reflection Questions Write the questions and your answer in your sketchbook – this will be graded • How does this Bio-Hand reflect your personal motivations & interests? • Describe your creative process – give details • If you had additional time, what specific changes would you make to your Bio-Hand project? • In what area were you successful? Why? • What area was challenging for you? Why? • In what ways does this piece demonstrate good craftsmanship (neatness & care)?
