Cyberbullying. Words do hurt. Over 13 million kids will be bullied this year. Kids with a different sexual orientation or a disability have a higher chance of being bullied online. Less than 40% of witnesses will stand up to it.

  2. Words do hurt. Over 13 million kids will be bullied this year. Kids with a different sexual orientation or a disability have a higher chance of being bullied online. Less than 40% of witnesses will stand up to it. 160 thousand kids a day miss school because they are too afraid to go. Over 50% of the time, when a bystander stands up to bullying, the bullying stops within ten seconds.

  3. WHAT COMES WITH CYBERBULLYING? IMBALANCE OF POWER: People who bully use their power to control or harm. The victims may have a difficult time defending themselves. INTENT TO CAUSE HARM: Actions done by accidents are NOT bullying. The person bullying will have a goal to cause harm. REPETITION: Incidents of bullying happen to the same person over and over again by the same person or group.

  4. Types of bullying. Verbal: Name calling , teasing. Social: Spreading rumors, leaving out people on purpose, breaking up friendships. Physical: Hitting, punching, shoving, kicking. Cyber bullying: Using the internet, mobile phones, or other digital technologies to harm others.

  5. Noah Miller Noah miller was an eighth grader at Stevenson middle school. He went through school being bullied, and online kids called him a fag, they told him he was gay, etc. It hurt too much, and he had committed suicide recently this year.

  7. These are the types of things that the victims of bullying think. The feeling of belonging that they lack, that they are not beautiful, that they are not skinny, that they cannot do anything right. These thoughts are the bully’s goal.

  8. Cyber bullying results in hurt, hatred, self harm. There are NO POSITIVES in the act. So why is there no law against it?

  9. Would you have smiled? You never know what they are about to do.

  10. Why can’t we tell people? Because we all JUDGE.
