Duties of the Chapter President-Elect • Acts as the chapter’s Membership Ambassador-at-Large at all chapter meetings • Be thoroughly familiar with the objectives and activities of Chapter committees • Should act as a confidante to the President on decision-making that affects all chapter members and be privy to all chapter business • In the absence of the President, presides at all meetings and assume the duties and power of the President
Duties of the Chapter President-Elect • Assumes the Presidency for the unexpired term of the President upon resignation, removal or death of that officer, if so provided for in the Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules • Perform specific duties assigned by the President or as provided in the Chapter By-laws and Standing Rules • Should be copied on all messages sent by the President to chapter members
Duties of the Chapter President-Elect • Should be expected to attend all Division meetings including: Fall Seminar, Leadership Workshop, and Annual Meeting • Deliver to the incoming President-elect or Vice President, all pertinent files within the time specified in the Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules, or if not stated, within 30 days from the date of installation • Side note… • Questions??????????
